In Yoga, we learn to come to a place of peace through the practice of pranayama and meditation.
Pranayama is the practice of learning to control the breath and invigorate the body’s prana or vital energy.
Through meditation, we learn to bring the mind to one-pointed focus. There are as many meditation techniques as there are teachers.
One method practiced for nearly as long as the earth has existed is the the stone’s meditation.
How happy is the little stone that rambles in the road alone
And doesn’t care about careers,
And exigencies never fears;
Whose coat of elemental brown a passing universe put on;
And independent as the sun,
